Creating added value of the C&C cloud strategy

In the world information technology environment, the appearance of Next Generation Networks (NGN) is contributing to the diversification of corporate networks, and the advancement of IP technology and wireless technology, bringing us closer to the realization of unified communications (UC) and cloud computing.

NEC Infrontia has unique technologies in the IT/network fields, especially IP telephony and business use terminals (appliances), and as a core company involved in the enterprise solutions business of NEC group companies, we are working to improve the added value and growth/development of the group.

In the IP telephony field, we have achieved a line of products ideally suited for corporate network systems on a common platform, ranging from key telephone systems for small and medium-sized offices to IP-PBX and SIP servers for large-sized offices.

In the appliance field, NEC Infrontia aims to strengthen its coordination with NEC’s solutions business through efforts such as broadband support for POS terminals and large-scale solutions between stores and head-office systems, as well as through the development of business solutions for security systems and in-house settlement systems based on RFID technology and personal recognition technology.

We are also aiming to create C&C cloud added value services, through activities such as working with mobile technology that is indispensable to UC/cloud, offering IT/network integrated new terminals by incorporating information technology skills such as web access, and constructing IT/network common platform.

While offering business solutions as a global player in the IP telephony field, NEC Infrontia will develop and manufacture a wide variety of globally competitive products in the IT/network field, through efforts to create added value of the C&C cloud strategy of NEC group.
