Company Information
NEC Infrontia (formerly Nitsuko) was founded in 1918, and began as a company that develops, manufactures and markets telecommunication equipment and components. On June 1, 2001, former Nitsuko Corporation merged with the divisions of NEC Corporation handling key telephones (telephony systems for enterprises) and POS (point of sales) terminals, and changed its name to NEC Infrontia Corporation.
Moreover on July 1, 2006, we merged with the product development division of NEC Corporation handling enterprise network systems, to enhance product development capabilities, and newly started as the core company in NEC group responsible for the development of IP telephony systems.
Currently, the NEC Infrontia Group is engaged in two business areas, such as, Network Systems and Business Appliances. In Japan, our products are marketed through our own market bases, our business partners, and NEC group’s companies. As for overseas markets, our products are marketed mainly through global network of NEC group.
